Today I had a call with a potential client and it got me thinking about confidence.
Confidence is often the thing we are trying to achieve when we think our goal is something else, such as weight loss.
We think we are trying to achieve weight loss when in reality, we are trying to gain confidence and we believe that weight loss is the answer.
What if I told you that you could become a confident person without ever losing weight?
What if I told you that if you did gain the confidence, the weight would naturally fall off if there is weight that needs to be shed?
Confidence stems from a lack of belief in ourselves. Once we learn how to think ahead to what we want our future to look like, create goals and plans to support that, and then (here’s the key) learn how to honor our commitments to ourselves, we begin to gain belief that we will take action and therefore we will reach our goals.
When you come to a place that you know you are 100% in control of where you are headed and you take 100% responsibility for where you are, you have the power.
You have the power to change any area that you want to and you know that you are the one that can make it happen.
This is how confidence starts.
You can call me a Weight Loss Coach, you can call me a Life Coach, you can even call me a Confidence Coach. They’re all pretty much the same thing. 😉
