Let's talk about mornings...
Would you consider yourself a "Morning Person"?
I know that I sure as heck do not! Or at least not until recently...
My life allows me the option of sleeping in every day of the week. So guess what I would do? Sleep in everyday.
I didn't really see it as a big deal since I didn't NEED to get up.
However, deep inside, I sure wanted to be a morning person. I mean, who doesn't want to WANT to get up in the mornings and actually ENJOY it? I know that I did.
I decided that it was time to take action.
After trying out all kinds of different tips, tricks, and methods, I can honestly say that I AM MORNING PERSON NOW!
Not only do I actually get up early, but I seriously LOVE my mornings. I am so excited every day I wake up.
I used to say "A good life is one where you don't have to set an alarm." and guess what? I do not set an alarm! I did in the beginning in order to create a new habit, but I have not for well over a month now. No need. I am up early exactly when my body is ready and ready to rock my day starting with a powerful morning.
This did not happen overnight. In fact, it took me just about 5 months to create a morning routine that I truly LOVE. 5 months may sound like a long time, but I am willing to bet that if you don't make any changes, you will still not be a morning person 5 months from now.. and you will still wish you were.
So let me ask you... why did you get up this morning? Was it because you HAD to? Or because your WANTED to?
