"I don't know"
How many times a day do you say this?
Did you know that just by say thing this, you will stay not knowing?
Our brains are designed to take the easy way out any time it sees that opportunity.
When you say " I don't know", it gives your brain the excuse to stop searching for the answer.
The next time you say to yourself..
- "I don't know why I am feeling mad/sad/lonely/frustrated"
-"I don't know why I overeat"
-"I don't know why I don't go to the gym/drink more water/eat more veggies".
Stop and ask yourself...
- "What if I did know? Then what would the answer be?"
- "If I just had to guess, what could it possibly be?"
- "What are 5 possible answers even if they may be completely wrong?"
You will be amazed at how your brains loves to search for the answers to the questions you ask it to.
